Why we exist
Agents are graduating from chat windows into systems that move money, send mail, mutate production data and talk to customers. The tooling that lets them act grew faster than the tooling that decides whether they should.
AnterisLab is the layer in between. We intercept the intended action, evaluate it against policies a human actually wrote, and return a verdict — allow, pause for a human, or block. Fast enough to sit in the request path, and structured enough to survive an auditor’s questions afterwards.
How we build
Fail closed
When unsure, we deny. Safety is the default state, capability is the exception we grant explicitly.
Deterministic over clever
A policy verdict must be reproducible for the same inputs and policy version. No probabilistic enforcement.
Evidence or it did not happen
Every decision is recorded with its inputs, policy version and outcome, exportable and tamper-evident.
Latency is a security feature
A control that is too slow to run inline will be bypassed. We budget milliseconds, not seconds.
